Systems with Insight. Solutions with Purpose.
Applied research and advising at the intersection of organizational psychology, systems engineering, and federal surveillance data. Research collaborations with the U.S. Census Bureau and Touro University. Advising for Fortune 500 firms and government agencies.
OpsArtica is the research and advising practice of Calvin Vernon: Doctor of Psychology, MBA, Certified Safety Professional, veteran, and inventor. Research Affiliate at Touro University, with active collaborations with the U.S. Census Bureau's Economic Statistical Methods Division. The work comes from time spent inside the systems it audits: a Navy career, years on a paint-manufacturing floor, an OSHA Special Government Employee role, and three patents alongside the research. The research program audits federal injury-surveillance datasets to make safety policy more accurate; the advising practice translates those findings into operational systems for Fortune 500 firms, government agencies, and the firms that work alongside them.
